A Milestone Nearly 40 Years in the Making: 1987-2023 Shareholder Land Conveyances Complete
MTNT is pleased to announce the completion of all eligible surveyed lots that were identified as previously approved under the Shareholder Land Distribution Program (SLDP) and prior Homesite Program from 1987 to 2023, but had not been deeded. This important milestone resolves decades of outstanding administrative matters and ensures that previously approved and eligible land selections have now been formally conveyed and recorded.
This effort followed the 2023 audit of the SLDP and the completion of the Nikolai 14(c)(1) reconveyances, which together prompted a comprehensive review of historic land records. As of September 2025, all previously approved surveyed lots that had remained outstanding under the SLDP and prior Homesite Program have now been finalized through recorded Quit Claim Deeds. In total, 21 conveyances were completed through this effort.
As part of this review, MTNT also evaluated prior Remote Site Applications. Two selections from 2016 remain active and eligible pending completion of required surveys. Several earlier applications approved between 1998 and 2009 were never surveyed or deeded. As the program moves forward, those Shareholders and/or their beneficiaries who have not previously received land may remain eligible.
With these reviews complete and eligible conveyances finalized, MTNT has now reached an important milestone.
This milestone represents more than the recording of deeds. It resolves decades of pending land selections, closes a long-standing administrative chapter, and marks an important step forward for MTNT’s continued stewardship of its lands.
The program is not closed. This administrative reset allows MTNT to carefully review the program and ensure a thoughtful path forward. Additional guidance will be shared with Shareholders as that work continues.
